Job Search Plan: We will define your job search plan, where you’re looking for positions, with whom you should be networking (we’ll tap your network in a very structured way, to make sure that you are finding out about positions that may not even be posted yet), etc.
Materials Development: All of your materials need to make the case for your candidacy. This includes, but is not limited to:
Your Resume (if you have one, we’ll work off of it, and if you haven’t made one in years, we can walk through your experiences and create a killer resume for you)
Cover Letters (there is no such thing as a cover letter template – sorry. You’ll need one for each of the opportunities you’re considering. But don’t worry, these can be written for you)
LinkedIn (Updating and sharpening your presence)
Depending on how comfortable you are with interviewing, we can talk through scenarios that you anticipate, examples that you want to make sure you incorporate into the discussion, and make a plan for any situations that you think could trip you up.
If you don’t have a plan for negotiating your salary and package, you will almost certainly leave money on the table!
Once you make it to the offer stage, we’ll talk through your options, what you want to ask for, how to respond to an offer, and ultimately how to negotiate for more-- whether it’s base salary, options, commission, or other benefits.
My approach includes radical candor; I am open, honest and direct and believe that feedback should be productive and actionable. If you don’t want to write your resume, I can do it for you! I will be there to support and partner with you and together we’ll leverage technology to be nimble, move quickly and drive results.
